Ingredients

  • 8 oz macaronni
  • 3 tbs. butter
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 3 tbs. flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup half and half cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook and drain the pasta.

Melt butter and add the onion, slowly cooking over low heat until softened. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper and cook for 2 minutes.

Combine the cream and wine and add to the onion mix. Cook until thick and smooth. Stir in cheese until melted. pour the sauce over the pasta nd toss.
