Ingredients

  • Pie crust
  • Bananas
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 stick of butter
  • 3 egg yokes
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Bake a pie crust, let cool.
Add sliced bananas to bottom of pie crust.
Mix flour & sugar together.
Add ½ of the hot water & egg yokes (mix up in a pan on the stove)
Add salt and vanilla
Add the rest of the hot water
Add the butter
Cook on stove until it gets to the desired thickness
Pour over bananas in pie shell
Top with meringue
