Warming Ginger-Lemon Tea

Once, when I felt the onset of cold symptoms, I created this "tea". I have used it every time I feel a cold coming on and have always found relief.
Or use it when you just need a pick-me-up

Ingredients
- 1 thumb of ginger, peeled and sliced thinly
- 1/2 a lemon, sliced thinly
- 4 cups boiling water
- local honey
- dash Cayenne pepper.

Preparation
Step 1
Place ginger and lemon slices alternately into the reservoir of a steeping tea pot and pour in boiling water. Allow to steep at least five minutes. Add 1 tsp honey to each tea cup and pour in steeped tea. Add a dash of Cayenne, and a couple of the steeped ginger and lemon slices if desired. Stir well and enjoy!
