Fire-Grilled Tilapia Tacos

  • Marinade:
  • 1 lb fresh Tilapia fillets
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Chopped avocado
  • Salsa
  • Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup EVOO
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp clover honey
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2-1 tsp hot sauce


Servings 4


Step 1

1. Combine marinade ingredients in small bowl. Pour marinade over tilapia in shallow baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour
2. Preheat grill to medium heat. Discard marinade. Carefully place fillets on oiled cooking grate and grill 3 minutes per side until just cooked through
3. About 1 minute before fillets are done place tortillas on grill to warm, flipping once
4. Remove tortillas and place on warmed plates. Top with fillets and garnish with lettuce, salsa, avocado and sour cream, as desired. Fold tortilla over filling and serve immediately
