Pilgrim corn makes an excellent appetizer or side dish. For a heartier and more savory dish, bacon or sausage can be added.
- 3 cups whole kernel corn, canned or cooked
- 1 minced green pepper or pimento
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup buttered bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons melted margarine
- 2/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Preparation time 5mins
Cooking time 35mins
Beat eggs slightly and add to corn. Add minced pepper or pimento.
Put in baking dish, sprinkle with crumbs and bake at 350ºF for about 30 minutes.
