Ingredients

  • 1 Large Box Cherry Jello or desired Red Jello
  • 1 Small box Jello Red, or green as desired
  • 1 small container Sour Cream
  • 1 can Crushed Pineapple, do not drain
  • 1 can Whole Cranberry sauce
  • Raspberries
  • Blue Berries

Preparation

Step 1

Mix 1 Large Box Jello (Raspberry, Cherry or desired Jello flavor)
with 2 C boiling Water. When this is dissolved, add 1 can Whole cranberry sauce, mash in with a fork. Add 1 can Pineapple, NOT drained. (I like to add raspberries and Blueberries to this as well).
When this layer of Jello has set, spread a thin layer of sour cream over the set jello layer and let this set as well. When set you can add another layer of jello over the previous 2 layers. At Christmas it is nice to use green on top. I usually use a cherry for other occasions or no jello layer on top, and just decorate the sour cream with berries. Like a flag for Independence day or just top with raspberries and blueberries. Use your imagination. My kids and Grandkids love this.

Option: can add chopped nuts if desired. My family doesn't care for the nuts added, but it all preference.
