Ingredients

  • 2 10 oz. package frozen cut broccoli
  • 2 C frozen whole small onions (optional)
  • 4 Tbs margarine/butter
  • 2 Tbs flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1 C milk
  • 1 3 oz. package cream cheese (cut up)
  • 1 C bread crumbs
  • 1/4 C parm. cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook broccoli according to package directions. Drain. Cook onions in boiling water until tender (approx. 10 minutes). Drain. In saucepan melt 2 Tbs of butter. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Reduce heat blend in cream chees till smooth. Stir in vegetables and pour into 1.5 qt casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Melt remaining butter with bread crumbs. Sprinkle on top with parm cheese.
