Blue Cheese Potato Gratin

Ingredients
- 4 large baking potatoes (about 2 1/2 lbs peeled & sliced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp. finely minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 8 ounces crumbled blue cheese
- 2 slices white bread crumbs

Preparation
Step 1
Combine potatoes, cream, milk, garlic, salt, pepper, nutmeg & half of the blue cheese in a large saucepan. Simmer 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheese & crumbs.
Bake 350 for 35-50 minutes, until potatoes are fork-tender and top is brown.
