Ingredients

  • 9 cups popped popcorn
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 3 T margarine
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Brown grocery bag

Preparation

Step 1

Put cooked popcorn in brown bag. Cook and stir brown sugar and corn syrup until it boils, then boil 5 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla.
Mix into bag of popcorn. Microwave 3 minutes, stopping to shake the bag every 30 seconds.
