Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 1 T all-purpose flour
- 1 T minced fresh parsley
- 1 T minced onion
- 1/2 t dried thyme
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 2-1/2 cups finely shredded raw potatoes
- additional all-purpose flour

Preparation
Step 1
Method:
In a bowl, beat egg; add the crumbs, flour, parsley, onion and seasonings.
Stir in potatoes; mix well.
With floured hands, shape into 1-1/2 inch balls. Dust with flour.
Bring a stew to a boil; drop dumplings onto stew. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes (do not lift cover).
Serve immediately.
