Creamed Carmelized Baby Onions

  • 1-2 Tbs. Olive Oil
  • 2-3 Tbs. Sweet Butter
  • Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Sherry
  • Pearl Onions
  • Thyme, chopped, to taste
  • Heavy Cream
  • 3 oz. Cream Cheese



Step 1

Put a little Olive Oil in frying pan. Add 2-3 Tbs. sweet butter (unsalted). Add pearl onions to fill pan. Turn to brown on both sides. Sprinkle with a little sugar. Add a little cooking sherry. Cook for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with a little chopped, fresh thyme. Add a little heavy cream and 3 oz. cream cheese.
