  • 1 Tblsp Butter
  • 3 Large onions, peeled and sliced 1/2" thick
  • 3 Tblsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 Tblsp honey

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in large skillet and add onions, pinch of salt & 1 cup water
Cook for 20 minutes stirring often until the water evaporates.
Add another cup of water and continue to cook another 20 minutes until the water evaporates and the onions brown.
Add the vinegar & honey and cook another 10 minutes until the onions caramelize, stirring often
