Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 apples, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (stir these in right before serving)

Step 1

Add all ingredients listed into slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours. In the am stir several times and let cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
