Okra, Tomatoes, and Corn

Ingredients
- 6 cups sliced okra (or less if you have to purchase)
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- 2 qts. Home canned tomatoes or purchase high-quality canned tomatoes
- 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes/chiles
- 3 cups frozen whole corn kernels
- 1 T sugar
- 1 t salt
- 1 t pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot combine okra, onion, canned tomatoes, Rotel tomatoes/chiles, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then cover and simmer over low heat until okra is almost tender. Add corn, bring back to a boil and simmer for about 20 minutes or until okra is completely tender.
