SESAME CHIX WITH BROCCOLI STIR FRY

Ingredients
- 5 T. soy sauce
- 2 t. toasted sesame oil
- 5 t. honey
- 1.25 lb. chix breats in 1 inch chunks
- 2 T. canola oil
- 2 green onions, white parts thinly sliced, green parts reserved
- 1 T. grated fresh ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1.5 cups chix broth
- 4 t. cornstarch
- 1 T. rice vinegar
- 1 t. chili paste
- 1 small head broccoli. cut in florets, steamed until crisp tender
- 3 T. toasted sesame seeds
- Hot cooked rice (optional)

Step 1
In medium bowl , whisk 3 T. soy sauce, 1 t. sesame oil and 2 t. honey. Add chix, toss to coat & marinate 20 min. Remove chix with slotted spoon and discard marinade.
In large skillet or wok heat 2 t. oil over medium high heat. Cook half chix at a time for 6 min. until browned. Transfer to serving plate. Heat 2 t. oil to cook remaining chix.
In same skillet heat remaining oil, add white part of onions, ginger and garlic. Cook 1-2 min. until fragrant. In small bowl whisk broth, remaining soy sauce, remaining honey, cornstarch, vinegar and chili paste until honey & cornstarch are incorporated. Add sauce to skillet. Cook & stir 2-3 min. until thickened. Stir in remaining 1 t. sesame oil.
To serve, pour sauce over chix. Surround chix with broccoli. Sprinkle with sesame seeds & green onion tops. Serve with rice.
