Ingredients
- 25 Ritz crackers
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cups water
- 1 double pie crust (top and bottom)
- nutmeg
- cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
1. Break crackers in half and set aside.
2. Mix sugar, cream of tartar, lemon juice, butter and water together in a saucepan; bring to a boil. When boiling point is reached, add crackers and boil slowly without stirring for 2 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Cover with top crust and crimp.
4. Bake at 425 degrees, 25 minutes.
