    Ahi tuna steaks

  • ¼ - ⅓

    cup black peppercorns

  • 2

    tablespoons olive oil

  • 2

    cups Mayonnaise

  • 1

    tablespoons sesame seed oil

  • 2

    teaspoons soy sauce

  • ¼

    cup scallion, green and white, chopped finely

  • 1

    teaspoon garlic, chopped

  • 1

    tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled, grated very fine

  • 2

    teaspoon fresh lemon juice

  • ½

    teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • salt and pepper

Directions

1. Place peppercorns into a Ziploc bag. Pound with mallet until medium grind crushed. Poor into pie plate. 2. Place tuna in pie plate and coat flat sides with crushed peppercorns. 3. Mix mayonnaise and remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside. 4. Place pan over medium high heat and coat with olive oil. Sear tuna on both sides, leaving middle pink. Top with Ginger Aioli.
