Apple-Cranberry Squares with White Chocolate Glaze

Ingredients
- 3/4 cups Applesauce
- 3/4 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sweetened, dried cranberries (or raisins)
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate morsels

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 8x8x2 inch pan.
In a large bowl, mix applesauce, brown sugar, oil and egg with a spoon.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
Mix in cranberries and pecans.
Spread batter in prepared pan.
Bake 27-32 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in a center comes out clean.
Glaze: Place white chocolate morsels in a self sealing plastic bag and microwave on 70% power for 30 secands.
Microwave an additional 10-20 seconds until smooth.
Snip corner off bag.
Drizzle white chocolate over bars.
Let set and cut into 2 inch squares.
