Ingredients

  • 1 LB. fresh or frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can of milk
  • 3/4 frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrot
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground peppershopping list
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • chopped toasted walnuts for garnish

Step 1

Cook tortellini according to the package directions. drain
2.Meanwhile, in 3-quart saucepan, combine soup, milk, peas, carrot, and pepper. Over med. heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 4 mins. or until peas are tender, stirring occasionally.
3. Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley. Heat until cheese melts. Stir in cooked tortellini. Garnish with walnuts. Makes 5 cups or 4 servings.
