Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter/margarine
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 TBSP parsley
- 1 TBSP lemon juice
- 9 medium carrots
- 2 TBSP water

Cooking time 60mins
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter. Add lemon juice , salt and sugar. Stir. Peel carrots and cut into julienne strips. Arrange a layer of carrots, then layer of onion, in a baking dish. Pour butter mixture over each layer. Add water and sprinkle with parsley. 350 for 1 hour or until tender. ( I steam carrots for a few minutes before assembling )
