Ingredients

  • 1 pound Beef stew meat
  • 4 TBSP Flour
  • 4 TBSP Ketchup
  • 3/4 cup Sour cream
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 each Onion (chopped)
  • 1 TBSP Prepared mustard
  • 1 TBSP Flour
  • 1 TBSP Butter
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper
  • 1 pound Egg noodles (uncooked)

Preparation

Step 1

Pound meat slightly.

Season with salt and pepper and roll lightly in the flour.

Sauté onions in butter.

When onions are brown, add the beef and sauté until light brown.

Pour the beef stock over the beef and stew on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

Add sour cream, ketchup and prepared mustard.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook egg noodles following package directions.

Serve stroganoff over the hot noodles.
