White Beans & Ham - Crock Pot Version

  • 1 lb. (16 oz) white Great Northern Beans
  • Ham Hock or Ham Bones with Meat
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 cups water

Step 1

Rinse and wash beans, sorting through them to remove any pebbles. Place beans and ham in the crock pot and cover with 6 cups of water. Add onion powder, salt & pepper. Cover and cook on HIGH for 6-8 hours checking them for doneness starting at the 6 hour point. Serve with cornbread.
