- 5 1/4 cups berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries or blackberries), fresh or frozen
- 2 1/4 cup apple juice
- 3/4 cup honey
- 3/4 cup sugar

Step 1
1. Place fruit in 4 qt pot and crush
2. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir constantly as it starts to boil.
3. Reduce heat slightly - enough to keep the fruit at a medium boil - stir often as the mixtures cooks over the next hour until thickened and reduced by almost half. If you want the seeds removed, pour hot mixture through a wire collander (use large spoon to push sauce through) or any other device to remove seeds. Reheat until back to light boil for 5 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, prepare canner and 4 pints jar and lids. Keep the jars warm until filling.
5. Immediately fill hot jars with the syrup leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
6. Process in a boiling water canner for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.
Use within one year.
