Maraschino Cherry Cream Pie
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter or margarine
- 1 pie shell
Cooking time 30mins
Separate eggs. Set egg whites aside to beat later. Put egg yolks, sugar, flour, and milk all in saucepan, mix well. Then add cherries and melted butter and cook until thick. Let cool, meanwhile the egg whites need beaten. Fill the pie shell with the cherry mixture.
Add sugar to egg whites then spread the whites onto the filled pie shell and bake at 400f until the egg whites brown.
