Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Beat all ingredients together until smooth. Have ready three large apples sliced thin. Pour half of the batter into a large greased and floured tube pan. Layer with apples. Sprinkle with 1/2 sugar and cinnamon mixture [1 tablespoon cinnamon, 1/2 cup sugar]. Repeat with batter, apples, cinnamon and sugar. You can sprinkle chopped English walnuts on top. Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours
