Ingredients

  • 6 cups vegetables cut up -- carrots, potatoes, celery and onions (or more)
  • Mushrooms, quartered
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 14 oz. can beef broth
  • 1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. McCormick Beef Stew Seasoning
  • 2 lbs. stew beef, cut in 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Maggi's Seasoning
  • Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Combine vegetables, liquids, and beef stew seasoning in slow cooker.

Coat beef with flour and brown in 2 T. vegetable oil over med-high heat until browned. Drain and add to slow cooker. Stir well.

Cover and cook on low 11 hrs.
