Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup of orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (I use cannola)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • optional ingredients for a more complex flavor
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh minced ginger
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil

Step 1

In a large bowl or a large resealable plastic bag add all the ingredients except salt and chicken and combine well. Add the chicken and refrigerate at least one hour or overnight.
Prepare the grill for medium heat with rack about 4 inches from the coals or heat source. Remove chicken from the marinade , discard liquid. Sprinkle chicken on all sides with salt. Grill until cooked through 20 to 25 minutes depending on the breast size.
