Sun-Drop Pound Cake

  • 2 Sticks Butter (softened)
  • 1/2 Stick Crisco
  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 5 Eggs
  • 3 Cups Cake Flour (shifted)
  • 6 oz Sun-Drop
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Lemon Flavoring


Cooking time 75mins


Step 1

Preheat oven to 325°. Grease a bundt cake pan. In a self-standing mixer, cream butter and crisco together. Add sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Alternate adding cake flour and sun-drop. Add vanilla and lemon flavoring. Pour into cake pan and drop on counter several times to release air bubbles. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
