Wild Mushroom Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire saauce
- 1 glove garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. paprika
- pkg. of fresh mushrooms, sliced (shiitake)
- 1 bag frozen vegetables
- 1/3 cup red wine

Preparation
Step 1
1. Place beef in slow cooker. Mix together flour, salt
and pepper; sprinkle over beef. Stir to coat each
piece of beef with flour.
2. Add remaining ingredients and sir to mix well.
Cover; cook on LOW 8-10 hours or on HIGH 4-
6 hours. Stir stew before serving.
Tip:
For 5-,6-, or 7-quart Crock-Pot slow cookers,
double the amount of meat, mushrooms, frozen
vegetables.
