Jordan Marsh Blueberry Muffins

Jodan Marsh was a large department store in downtown Boston. It had its on bakery. Their specialty was a large blueberry muffin. One of the highlights of the trip was going to the bakery to pick up the muffins.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 tsp Baking Powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 1/2 cups Blueberries
• 2 tsp sugar for top
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

At low speed cream butter and sugar until fluffy
Add eggs one at atime
Mix until well blended
Sift dry ingredients
Add alternately with milk and vanilla
Mash !/2 cup Blueberries
Stir in by hand
Add remaining whole blueberries
Stir in by hand
Grease muffin tins and top
Fill tins sprinkle with sugar
Bake at 375 for 30 mins
Cool in pan at least 30 mins
