Ingredients

  • 6 Tablespoon butter, (softened)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cream together butter, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Stir in 1 cup flour. Pat into bottom of 9 x 9 greased pan.
Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Meanwhile, beat eggs until blended.
Add vanilla and brown sugar; beat until blended.
Add 2 tablespoons flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Stir in coconut and nuts.
Spread over top of baked layer.
Bake for 20 minutes longer or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool. Cut into diamonds.
