Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 2 cups flour
- 2 T sour milk (to sour milk, add a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice to the milk)
- 3 over-ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 dash salt

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a loaf pan.
Whisk together dry ingredients. In a mixer, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk. Mix in the well-mashed bananas.
Bake for about 1 hour. It is done when a toothpick poked into the center of the bread loaf comes out clean.
