Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup solid shortening
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 7 ounces whole cranberry sauce
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Grease and flour an 8" tube pan and set aside.
3. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
4. In a large bowl, cream together shortening and granulated sugar. With mixer at medium speed, gradually add unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Reduce speed and add sifted dry ingredients, alternately with sour cream. Add vanilla and combine.
5. Carefully spoon half the batter in the prepared cake pan. Swirl into the batter half the cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and nuts. Add remaining batter. Swirl in remaining cranberry sauce and brown sugar. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
6. Bake 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
