Ingredients

  • 12 ears fresh corn
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2-4 Tbs. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Step 1

Cut off corn into large bowl. Scrape milk and remaining pulp with pairing knife. Cook bacon until crisp. Reserve 1/4 cup of drippings. Remove bacon. Add corn and other ingredients to drippings. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes stirring often. Put in bowl and crumble bacon on top.
