  • 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Step 1

1. I a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

1. Add the bananas and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture.

3. Combine topping ingredients; add half to batter. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 x 2 in. baking pan. Sprinkle with the remaining topping.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
