5 granny smith apples
2 cups of frozen cranberries or package
1 cup of brown sugar light
1 twsp of vanlila extract
1 teasp ground cinimon
2 teasp cornstach
1/4th cup of water
1 vanilla bean split
1 cup of all purpose flour
3/4 baking powder
1/8 teasp salt
1/3 cup butter
softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespon of milk
1 large egg
vanilla ice cream

Ingredients

  • cOMBINE FIRST 5 INGREDIENTS IN A 5 QT COOKER
  • Whisk together the corn starch and 1/4 cup water until smooth add to the slow cooker
  • Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2hours
  • Meanwhile , use a small sharp knife to scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean, Combine the seeds and the next 3 ingredients set aside
  • Beat butter at a medium speed electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add granulated sugar, beating well, add milk and egg, beating until blended. Stir in flour mixture.
  • Stir apple mixture. Drop flour mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time, evenly over apple mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 1/2 hours. Serve warm with ice cream
