Mushroom Pasta


Simple mushroom pasta dish! Meat is optional

  • 3 Tbs butter
  • 3 Tbs Olive oil
  • 1/2 Marsala wine
  • 1 Pound baby Portobello mushrooms
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1/2 heavy cream
  • 1/2 chicken stock
  • 1 pound of noodles
  • Parmesan cheese

Step 1

Boil water for the noodles, and cook. Set aside a 1/2 cup pasta water.

In a large skillet over medium heat melt the olive oil and butter. Next add the mushrooms and onions cook with lid over them for 5-7 minutes till soft. Then add the Marsala wine till it cooks down. Add the can of Cream of Mushroom, and chicken stock. Cook for another 5 minutes. Last add the heavy cream and parmesan. If it is too thick add the pasta water. Pour over noodles and enjoy!
