Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 small head cabbage
  • 4 celery ribs
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 t citric acid ( sour salt)
  • 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes with 2 cups of water or 2 cups broth
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Directions:
1. Dice the vegetables.
2. Brown the ground beef.
3. Drain.
4. Add onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic.
5. Cook until wilted.
6. Add the diced cabbage.
7. Add tomatoes juice and all.
8. Add Worcestershire sauce.
9. Add pepper.
10. Add 2 cups water.
11. add bouillon cubes
12. Add drained beans.
13. Cook 30 minutes.
