  • 3 lbs. Pork Roast, boneless
  • 3/4 cup plus 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • Two 10 3/4 oz. cans Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup water
  • Thyme
  • Nature Seasons
  • Basil
  • Salt
  • Gravy:
  • Juices from the pan
  • Two 10 3/4 oz. cans Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup water

  • Wondra Shaker Flour OR All-Purpose Flour

Step 1

Place the pork roast into a roasting pan. To the side of the roast that is facing up, add thyme, Nature Seasons, Basil, salt, and 1/4 cup brown sugar; Rub the mixture into the roast. Bake the pork roast at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 65 minutes. Remove the roast from the oven and flip the roast over. Add the chicken broth, water, and 1/2 cup brown sugar to the bottom of the pan. To the side of the roast that is facing up, add thyme Nature Seasons, Basil, salt, and 1/3 cup brown sugar. Bake at 415 degrees Fahrenheit for an additional 60 minutes. Remove the roast from the pan and allow it to rest on the serving plate for 5-10 minutes.

*For the Gravy:*
Use the juices in the pan combined with chicken broth, water, flour (to thicken), and remaining seasonings (to your taste). This recipe is normally served with mashed potatoes and a vegetable of your choice.
