Baked Green Beans

  • 3 Cans Whole Green Beans, drained (I can usually find Del-Monte brand)
  • ½ stick margarine, melted
  • ½ Cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ t. vinegar


Servings 6


Step 1

Pour green beans into baking dish. Melt margarine and add remaining ingredients. Stir until well blended. Pour over green beans. Place 2-3 strips of pre-cooked bacon or partially cooked bacon on top. Cover with alum. foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 mins. Uncover and bake 15 more minutes.
