Ingredients
- JEWISH APPLE CAKE
- 3 CUPS FLOUR
- 1 ½ CUPS SUGAR
- 1 CUP OIL
- 4 EGGS BEATEN FLUFFY
- 1/3 CUP ORANGE JUICE
- 2 ½ TEASPONS VANILLA
- 3 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 3 LARGE APPLES, PEELED AND SLICED VERY THIN
- PLACE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT APPLES IN LARGE BOWL AND BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH.
- SPREAD HALF THE BATTER IN A BUTTERED PAN.
- COVER WITH A LAYER OF HALF THE APPLES.
- SPRINKLE THESE WITH CINNAMON & SUGAR TO TASTE, THEN COVER WITH REMAINING BATTER, ARRANGE REST OF APPLES IN A NEAT LAYER ON TOP. SPRINKLE WITH CINNAMON AND SUGAR. PLACE IN A 350 F. OVEN AND BAKE UNTIL DONE.
