Ingredients

    eggs

  • 1/2

    cup sugar

  • 3/4

    cup packed brown sugar, divided

  • 1

    TBS all purpose flour

  • 1

    tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4

    tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/4

    tsp ground ginger

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • 2

    cups solid pack pumpkin puree

  • 1

    can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1

    9" unbakes pie shell

  • 2

    TBS butter

  • 1

    TBS orange zest

  • 3/4

    cup pecan halves

Directions

1) Combine eggs, sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, glour, pices and salt. Blend in pumpkin. Gradually add milk; mix well. 2) Pour into pie shell. Bake in preheated 400 degree F oven 10 mins. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bak 40 - 50 mins longer. 3) Meanwhile, in a med bowl, combine butter, orange zest, 1/4 cup brown sugar and pecans. Mix thoroughly. 4) Sprinkle pecan mixture over pie the last 10 mins before removing from the oven.
