Japanese Barbecued Swordfish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 C honey
  • Fresh grated ginger
  • 1/4 C soy sauce
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 T cornstarch mixed with 3 T water
  • l lb. swordfish steak

Preparation

Step 1

Combine teriyaki, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger & cornstarch paste in heavy saucepan.
Bring to boil over med heat, stirring. Remove from heat & cool. Brush both sides of swordfish with oil. Cook one side over med heat grill @ 2 min. Turn & brush with bbq sauce; cook 3-4 min or til desired doneness, brushing with additional sauce.
