Apple Walnut Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 1/2 loaf French bread, crust trimmed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1-1/4 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1 cup diced tart apples
- 3/4 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cut bread into 3/4 inch cubes (about 3 cups). Butter a 7x11 pan. Combine remaining ingredients except butter. Mix well and add bread cubes. Toss to combine. Pour into pan, dot with butter. Bake 35 minutes or until firm.
