Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1 cup - butter, softened
- 2 cups - sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. - vanilla
- 8 oz - sour cream
- 2 cups - flour
- 1/2 tsp. - salt
- 1 tsp. - baking powder
- 1 cup cooking apple, pared and sliced (1 large apple)
- 1 cup - nuts, finely chopped
- 5 tbsp. - brown sugar
- 1 tsp. - cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°. All ingredients should be room temp.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in eggs, vanilla and sour cream; mix well. Add flour, salt and baking powder; mix well on low speed. Fold in apples. Spoon batter into greased 9x13 glass baking dish. Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter. Bake 40-50 minutes or until center springs back when pressed.
