Ingredients
- 1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle of your favorite barbeque sauce (recipe calls for KC Master barbeque sauce but I substitute my family favorite)
- 8 hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted

Step 1
1. Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker
2. Pour the root beer over the meat
3. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours.
NOTE: The actual length of time may vary according to individual slow cooker.
4. Drain well.
5. Stir in barbeque sauce
6. Serve over hamburger buns.
NOTE: some folks have used pork loin roast in place of the pork tenderloin. This is a personal preference.
