Ingredients
- 4 cups tart cherries - about 3 cans
- 3 tblsbs quick cooking tapioca
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1 tblsp lemon juice
- pastry shells
- 1 1/2 tblsps butter

Preparation
Step 1
Pre heat oven to 450
in medium bowl mix cherries, tapioca, sugar, almond extract,and lemon juice.
Let set for 10 mins
Line pan with bottom crust.
Dot with butter.
cover with top crust.
I use a lattice.
Bake for 10 mins.
Reduce heat to 350 and continue to bake for 40 to 45 more minutes,
