Pancetta & Havarti Burgers


I had some old cheese and fancy meats to finish up - so I figured to put them on a Burger. Makes a great decadent take on a bacon cheese burger. There isn't much here other than the ingredients, but it's definitely worth sharing.

  • 1 burger patty
  • Burger seasoning of choice
  • 1 1/2 slices Havarti cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 slices pancetta
  • 1 sesame seed bun

Step 1

Preheat your grill in preparation for however you regularly cook your burgers

Melt butter in a small sauce pan.

Season the burger and put on the grill.

Over med/high heat, cook the slices of Pancetta in the butter until golden brown and crispy.

Once your burger is done to your liking, put 1 piece of the cooked Pancetta, then the full slice of Havarti. Place the second piece of pancetta on the cheese and cover with the remaining half slice of Havarti.

Let it all melt, then remove from the grill and let sit for about 5 minutes. Toast your bun at this point if desired.

NOTE: This is only for 1 burger... You'll most likely want to make 4 or 10 or whatever, but I put this in as 1 so it's easy to multiply.
