Apple Pie from Virginia's Kitchen
Preheat OVEN 425*- 10 minutes then bake at 375* until golden brown About 5mi
- 3 lbs of your favorite apples peel and cored and sliced as thin as possible,and a splash of lemon juice so they don't turn brown,and 3/4 c. Of brown sugar ,1/4 t. Of salt,1/2 t. Cinnamon,1/4 t. Nutmeg and 1T.of flour.
- Mix all together.Spray pie pan with Pam.I use PRE made pie shell. I mix apples mixture altoegther and it to pie shell.
After mixing apples use a slotted spoon to remove most of the juices spoon all apples into pie shell cover with top shell,cover outer shell with foil to prevent burning outer crust,remove foil during the last 10 minutes of cooking
So it may brown .
