Boneless Barbecue Beef Ribs

Ingredients
- 4 lb. Boneless beef ribs(or beef brisket, cut in 2-inch wide strips)
- 2 1/2 c. Catsup
- 1/2 c. Water
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- ? C. Packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Liquid smoke
- 1/4 c. Instant coffee granules
- 2 tbsp. Dry mustard
- 4 tsp. Celery seed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot brown ribs, about a third at a time, in a small amount of cooking oil. Drain off excess fat. For barbecue sauce, in a large saucepan combine the catsup, water, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, liquid smoke instant coffee granules, dry mustard, celery seed, and minced garlic; bring to boiling. Simmer for 5 min, stirring occasionally. Pour half of the sauce over ribs in pot. Cover and refrigerate remaining sauce to serve with ribs. Cover and bake ribs in a 325º oven about 3 hours or till meat is very tender. Skim fat from sauce in pot. At serving time, warn remaining sauce and pass with ribs.
